Imagine... Create... Experience...


       

A tent of art opportunities that the Council produces at the Waukee Fall Festival. The area provides quality children’s visual art activities along with musical and dramatic performances and artist demonstrations.


Students on Stage


The Students On Stage program was developed to create an outlet for students to perform/exhibit work that would not usually have a public forum. This also gives the public a way to connect with students through various art forms.




Face to Face


Face to Face with the Arts is a program designed to put a personal face on the arts through lectures, receptions and school programs. The community may find themselves Face to Face with performers, authors, Artists or other outstanding Individuals.



Speakers Bureau

The Council will continue to advocate and educate on the importance of the arts and the impact it can have in the community.


Education

The Council will provide education in the arts through classes, seminars, master classes and workshops utilizing local teachers, professional performers and visiting artists.


Special Events

The Council will utilize the activities in the state and the Midwest to provide art opportunities for the members of the community. Special trips to exhibitions, concerts or performances will be offered.





Performances

The Arts Council will continue to bring local, regional, and national artists to the area to perform or present their work.
